CAR HIRE AGREEMENT and QUESTIONS 

HIRER: NOT for self drive.  

* Please contacts us with as many details of your event as possible e.g. Location, Duties Required, Dates, Insurance Cover etc. if Public Event or Filming.

* Please ensure there is adequate, safe and legal parking for the arrival of the vehicle.

Sandstone Productions : 

  • Endeavour to comply to your booking arrangement.

  • Will clarify your requirements once the booking form is returned to us. Should we encounter any problems, we will inform you as soon as possible.

  • In the event of a breakdown we will try to find a replacement vehicle

    (please ask us for details, it will not be the make and model you have booked) 

  • Any damage caused by the hirer is the hirer responsibility and will be charged accordingly. 

  • As part of our terms and conditions the Hirer / passenger agrees in placing a booking with us they fully disclaim that Sandstone Productions is not liable / responsible in the event of any injury.  

  • In the event the passenger is below the age of 16 an adult will follow behind the hire vehicle, as be present when we stop for photo’s

    Sandstone Productions record the entire hire for their own protection.

  • If Sandstone Productions fails to appear at the event through no fault of our own

    e.g. ill-health, accident or breakdown, we will inform the hirer as soon as possible, we will return the deposit if we cannot arrange a suitable back-up vehicle (not the same make and model as booked).

  • The contract made between the Hirer and Sandstone Productions is strictly between the hirer and owner only

What's Included in the price

  • Hire of the Vehicle, Driver, milage plus any extras as listed on our booking form 

  • One collection and drop off point, any further points must be discussed with us prior to signing booking form

Additional Hire Charges

Waiting time or additional hours required outside of the minimum contracted hire period will be charged at £70.00 per hour or part thereof if not booked in advance payable on the day.  

Additional mileage charge £3.50 per mile will be levied when not booked in advance payable on the day.

We allow up to 15 mins on any package selected, this allows for extra time caused by traffic conditions (this will be included in your package).

If you do not let us know you require extra time / mileage before the booking, we may not be able to allow for it on the day.

All mileage will be accurately calculated using postcode data you provide at the time of booking.

Any additional time / mileage or second Venue will not be calculated in your quotation

We recommend planning plenty of time to factor in delays, road works,  hold ups, and heavy traffic on the day to ensure you arrive in time for your booking

Prices quoted are for single Special Occasion and wedding ceremonies only  

QUOTATIONS

All quotations will be in accordance with the information you provide. Once agreed, booked and confirmed, any alterations to the change to any location address may result in an increased hire charge due to increased mileage or time.

Any reduction of time, mileage or locations will not reduce the hire charge as the minimum hire charge will already have been applied to your quotation.

RESERVATION DEPOSIT: 25% of the Total amount quoted


If the hire date is within 2 weeks the total hire fee is payable

Payments can be made by Direct Bank Transfer, Cash, internet banking

(PayPal are subject to an additional fee which varies according to the amount being paid)
All deposits are non-refundable within two weeks of the event date (Unless is due to Covid)

HIRE CHARGES

Please note due to the increased in motoring (including vehicle maintenance, fuel, staff and utilities) our yearly running costs are rising dramatically which cannot be reduced or avoided in any way. 

So in order to provide you with unqiue Movie Car hire at yesteryears prices we ask politely that you do not ask for further discounts.

That way we can continue to offer you outstanding condition Movie Cars and 1st class service.

 

Frequently asked Questions : 

* Can we hire more than 1 vehicle ?

Yes, as many as you like. We can source vehicles at your request

* Can we extend our hire time after we have signed the agreement, even on the day ?

Again Yes, if we can accommodate your request we would like to stay at your event for longer, price and availability will be decided by your driver on the day

If requested earlier we can update the agreement and fees.

* Can more than one person use the car ?

No, only the hirer can use the vehicle, friends family and guests will not have access inside the car. This is due to any damage that may occur will fall on the hirers liability to bear the full cost of the repair.

* Can we go to 88mph ?

Sorry but no, the driver will abide to all U.K speed limits

* Can I consume food or drink in the car ?

Sorry again no, the cars do not have any provision to eat or drink, and why would you (you will be to busy enjoying yourself !)

* Can my friends jump in quickly for just a photo ?

No, again due to any possible damage that could be caused and for insurance purposes

* Can I request photo's of my experience ?

Yes, as many as you like we can even supply an A3 Canvas print of your experience

 * Can you arrive 15 mins earlier for photo's to be taken before we leave ?

Yes, we do include this in your package to ensure we are there 15 minuets earlier than your booked time

* Can I request to play my own music ?

Yes, connect your phone into our sound system to enjoy your own music whilst enjoying the experience
